Gardening, Leaf Blowers and Friendship

On a wonderful sunny late autumn afternoon, 2 years ago, two 3 friends graduated from the best gardening and land sculpturing program in the country. They were best friends and competitors at the same time, always willing to challenge and outdo one another. All three of them had been equally successfull or successless students and they all – as young program graduates – had passionte visions and dreams for their lives and carreers.
Last week, after almost 2 years of making these dreams come alive, they met at a gardening conference without knowing each of their friends would be there.
The joy was immanent and what they discovered after all these months was how much they still were very much alike. The three of them were in a happy relationship. None of them had children yet. And all three of them, it turned out, had worked for similar gardening projects in hteir city after graduation, and they still were happily immersed in their respective land scaping and gardeniing workshops.
One difference there was though. One of the guys was a hands on project manager at the local park for supporting single moms, the second man was doing an ambitious automatic cleaning workshop for pet cementeries. The third man was the owner of the best selling equipment company they all bought their leaf blowers, trimmers, hedge clippers and lawn mowers from.
Ask yourself…. what is the one determining factor that initates this sort of difference in a person´s life?
Not that one guy was more intelligent or more capable than the other. Neither was it that one was more success driven or ambitious than their friends.
No, what makes the difference is what kind of equipment you use, what you know about it and how you use it to your best advantage.
Use your knowledge to enable people. Show them how to implement their gardening gadgets to their best causes as opposed to do the work for them. I am sharing this story for this exact reason. Educating yourself about cordless leaf blowers, electric blowers, gas blowers or back pack leaf blowers gives you knowledge that you than can use and implement to not only your advantage but also for the good of others.
