This Earthwise 10-Amp Corded Blower/Vac features a 3-in-1 capability as a blower, vacuum and mulcher. To use as a leaf blower, simply snap on the 26″ blower tube. Convert to a vacuum and/or mulcher by snapping on the 35″ vacuum tube and installing the 1.5-bushel capacity collection bag. Previously I was used to two more heavy duty type blowers, one that was over 160 mph even. They were both an electric and a gas powered blower and the blowing power was much higher. I got the Earthwise just for some light duty work like clearing away leaves or dust from our walkways, the driveway and once in a while our patio. For this type of work it does pretty well. Yet I would advise against using it for any heavy duty work because it misses the neccessary power.
What also is not particularly convenient is the fact that it has power for just 10 minutes of battery life or so. And you better do not have a breeze against you! That would have more effect than this blower has. I really like how lightweight it is though. It is easy to use, even a child could handle it. On the downside, the 18V battery is where it lacks. Earthwise would do good to up it to 24V for more juice.
Conclusion: use it for light duty work only, e.g. garages, walkways or smooth patios.
